RULES
Contest is open to anyone, except IKONICS employees. Product design specialists working in the awards and recognition industry are encouraged to participate. Multiple entries per participant are allowed; but each participant is limited to winning one award.

Entries must contain IKONMetal® as a core component of design. Participants are free to include other substrates—such as glass, stone, wood, etc.—in composing their entries.

Registration forms can be found online at ikonicsimaging.com or may be submitted by mail. Photos of entries must be submitted, digitally to: info@ikonmetal.com or on disc to: IKONAwards IKONMetal Design Contest, 2007; 4832 Grand Avenue, Duluth, MN 55807 before midnight, December 31, 2007.

Contestants are encouraged to supply up to 3 images of their entry.

JUDGING CRITERIA
Five semi finalists will be chosen based on the following criteria:

  • Award Design Originality
  • Creative Use of IKONMetal
  • Overall Design Aesthetic

The five semi finalists will be notified by January 15, 2008 of their status as Finalists. Finalists will ship their entries, at IKONICS' expense, to IKONICS for safekeeping, photography and promotion. Finalists will retain possession of their entries at the
conclusion of the contest. IKONICS is not responsible for lost
or damaged entries.

The top three finalist entries will be prominently displayed in the IKONICS Imaging PhotoBrasive Systems exhibit at the ARA International Awards Market in Las Vegas, February 27-29, 2008. The contest winners will be chosen by show attendees via general ballot. Prizes will be presented at 5:00PM February 28 at the IKONICS Imaging Customer Appreciation Reception.

Finalists are encouraged to attend the ARA International Awards Market in Las Vegas, February 27-29, 2008.
